3 Things To Do This Spring Bank Holiday Weekend

It’s forecast to rain this Spring Bank Holiday weekend…Not really what we envisioned for an end of Spring (almost Summer) weekend. We had hoped to crack out the BBQ, maybe take a picnic up to the park, enjoy a drink in a beer garden or walk the dogs in the beautiful sunshine. I suppose us Brits have just come to accept the unpredictable weather. But, there’s plenty more still to do this Spring bank holiday weekend!

1. Visit The Green Retreats Showroom
Our indoor all-weather showroom is the ideal place to visit on a rainy day! Grab a cup of joe from our niche coffee pod and feel at home as you explore our various garden rooms, fully furnished and styled into diverse uses! We have a safe kids area, a unique Virtual Reality zone allowing you to design your very own garden room, and dedicated consultation tables too! Your four legged friends are welcome too!

Opening Hours:
Saturday 26th May | 9am – 4pm
Sunday 27th May| 10am – 4pm
Bank Holiday Monday, 28th May | 10am – 4pm

2. The Long Dog Pub
An independent Village pub, with a wonderful friendly vibe and a rich menu serving great food. The Long Dog also offers a children’s menu! Dogs are welcome too!
A visit to our showroom beforehand entitles you to 10% off your food bill at the Long Dog!
Open all week (including bank holidays) from 12pm!

3.Waddesdon Manor
Although it’s meant to be miserable, the bad weather could never refrain from making Waddesdon Manor look incredible. Explore the grounds or visit the house. Open 10am – 5pm. Don’t forget to grab your voucher after visiting our showroom for Free Grounds Entry to the National Trust property!

We hope whatever you decide to do this weekend that you have a wonderful and well deserved three-day weekend!
