Credit scoring works by awarding points for each answer given on the application form such as age, income and occupation, together with information obtained from credit reference agencies.
This information allows consistent decisions to be provided, ensuring all applicants are treated fairly. Credit scoring does not discriminate on the grounds of sex, race, religion or disability.

Yes – you can settle your balance, in full or partially, at any time. There are no penalties for either option. If you settle the balance in full, you will be charged interest up until the date you settle + an additional 30 days. If you settle part of the balance, this will reduce the term and interest payable on the agreement. The direct debit amount will be unchanged. Alternatively, you can take a payment holiday until the value of the agreement has been used.
