Not many of us have the time, or resources to build a traditional gym in the house. We’re either stuck with visiting the gym, slowly resenting it, or trying to find room in the house for a workout.
Our customers found themselves in a position where they were in desperate need of extra room in the house. A space to train after work but also use the space as somewhere to relax.
With extensions coming to a hefty price, a conservatory not being suitable they were a little stuck with ideas. The solution…?
A garden room from The Garden Office.
A garden gym is the perfect place to retreat to after a hectic day at work; unwind, de-stress and finish your day off right.
A garden gym creates the perfect environment for your work out sessions. Allowing you to use your own equipment in the privacy of your own home. With a choice of doors and windows you can create an impeccable balance of natural light and ventilation. Our garden rooms are fitted with high security (insurance grade) multi point locks and bolts with a 5-lever locking system putting your mind at ease each time you lock up and leave for work.
This TGO1 garden gym is 4.5m x 4.5m, set with 2.3m sliding doors, a lozenge and corner window. There is an exterior torch light for the dark winter evenings.
The interior is finished with our standard melamine walls, an easy to clean and non-scratch surface for a garden gym. This building has two LED panel lights and two set of track lights, creating a bright and vibrant garden gym environment.
When it comes to being creative, the more space you have to flourish, the better.

The dining room table isn’t sufficient enough for all the supplies, and keeping in mind that you’re in the house – this means no mess or accidental paint splatters on the perfectly painted walls, trying to clean it off results in a sequel to Mission Impossible. Furthermore, the constant effort of unpacking and packing again tends to become a tedious exercise that results in resentment to the whole activity.

Designed with large doors and windows allowing for ample natural light to fill the room. The building has easy wipe-down melamine walls; perfect for any artist in concern of paint marks. Our customers are now able to de-stress and unwind in their garden room; combined to be an art studio and chill out space.
Trying to find the time to do everything you want is like trying to find a needle in a haystack; sometimes it’s just impossible. We tend to give up and settle for a compromise.

Our customer has created an office gym combo in their 7.5m x 3.5m TGO2 building. Designed with 2.3m French doors, a full height window and a single clad door for a small partitioned section for storage. With the new commute reduced down to 30 seconds it creates a new relaxed morning routine, without having to rush or worry about being late because of morning traffic. An after-work workout and wind down is only a few steps away, so you can de-stress as soon as you need.
With an office and gym in your back garden, the time saved from not commuting allows the customer to now spend more time with the kids. After all, your children are only young once!

Space is a little like time; We think we have lots of it but it seems to run out very quickly. Our customers were looking for somewhere to work out in but also combine the space with a games room for the kids. With the house already dedicated to specific uses they wanted something outside of the house, but not to feel completely isolated.

The Solution?
A garden room by The Garden Office is the perfect choice in creating space with value for money. Our customers decided to design a 5m x 4m TGO3 set with 2.8m sliding doors, lozenge window and corner window.
The TGO3 garden room is used as a gym and games room combo, featuring exercise equipment, a pool table and a beer fridge. The 2.8m sliding doors provide natural light to enter the garden room and are great to keep open on summer days!
The building design fits perfectly with the aesthetics of the house and garden, complimenting each other nicely with a traditional and modern twist.
