Watch the Rugby World Cup in your Man Cave

A Man Cave For All Occasions

We’re about halfway through the 2019 Rugby World Cup and what a tournament it’s been. We’ve seen underdogs Japan reach further than anyone thought they would and England are in the quarter-finals this Saturday. What a game that is set to be with England taking on Australia. Sports fixtures are always best watched in the comfort of your own space with friends and The Garden Office offer the ultimate solution for this. Instead of having to share a space with the whole family, arguing about what to put on the television, why not consider creating a personal man cave in the garden for you and your mates to be able to enjoy the Rugby World Cup?

Location, Location, Location

Where you place your man cave is dependent on the space you have in your garden. If you’re fortunate enough to be able to place your man cave at the bottom of your garden, that would make the ideal location for it. Close enough to the house to be able to make the most of your home comforts but far enough away to make as much noise celebrating as you’d like. More good news, with The Garden Office garden rooms you can have a toilet and a small kitchen area installed. While we are not able to install the plumbing ourselves, we will liaise with a plumber of your choice to ensure that the necessary openings are in place ready for your plumber to connect the required services.

Multi-Purpose

A man cave doesn’t stop at a space to watch all the sport you could dream of but can also be multi-purpose. When you haven’t got the excitement of big sports fixtures to watch, use your man cave as a space to unwind. We all require some personal space and time occasionally to keep us sane but with families, this can be difficult. Whether your idea of unwinding is with a good book, catching up on your favourite TV dramas or practising your hobby, rest assured that your man cave will be the ideal place to do so, all year round. The Garden Office garden rooms are warm enough to use all-year-round as they are extremely well insulated, keeping the heat in during the colder months and keeping it out during the summer. Our buildings also come as standard with a free-standing oil-filled radiator. If you don’t mind sharing, our larger buildings can have partition walls installed, meaning that you can have your man cave in one half and create extra space in the other for a multitude of purposes. Why not consider a garden gym in the other half of the room for the whole family to enjoy?

Accessorise It

All good man caves need a comfy sofa to kick your feet up. Something large enough to fit you and all your friends while watching the rugby and also durable enough to withstand any spillage. We think this one would be perfect and even has added storage and is an L shape for added comfort. Buying a bar or even making a custom one to fit into your space not only adds practicality, a space to store all your drinks, snacks and glasses but adding some bar stools creates additional seating. How unique is this retro industrial drinks bar, made from reclaimed ammunition tins? We cannot forget the ultimate TV with quality so good, you’ll feel as if you’re actually in Oita Stadium watching England v Australia live. This 75” Smart 4K television by Samsung is perfect for this. Add a fun element for half time with this 3 in 1 pool table which also doubles as table tennis and darts.

Customise It

Make your man cave your own through displaying personal items such as a collection of glasses you’ve collected on your travels, cool posters or even creating custom signage such as an eye-catching neon sign. Take inspiration from this customer who built his bar with his name on it.
